Nicky is also pleased to announce that Penguin Potters have invited some other local makers to come and join us in the garden and showcase their wonderful creations.

Nicky started pottery as a hobby in 2021 and it was nothing more than a weekly expedition to Highlands Adult Education Centre and lots of wobbly pots. However towards the end of 2023, she received some guidance and lessons from a wonderful fellow potter that changed everything and Nicky caught the pottery bug!

Pottery is a journey with endless design possibilities, taking new shapes, colours and forms of decoration everyday. As her work evolves, Nicky is loving the path it is taking her on more than ever.
Nicky works from her garden shed in St Lawrence and can be found pottering in her studio most days. She welcomes visitors to her studio where she always has a selection of her work on display.

Nicky creates wheel-thrown stoneware ceramics that are both beautiful and functional. She loves making vases that will complement the flowers from your garden and tableware that enhances your everyday.
Nicky is always happy to be set a challenge and to work with a client to create bespoke pieces of work.
